Nika Summers' Comments

I liked that they centered around Cordelia and how she feels that she's being punished for having sex. Even though she wasn't being punished by higher powers and it was just a bad mistake. Charisma Carpenter did a wonder job acting as a psychotic caring mother at the end as well as showing us just how much it hurt for her emotionally at the beginning when she first realizes she's pregnant. It was also nice to see that Angel was treating Cordelia as if she were his little sister. It was really sweet and touching to see how much Angel and Wesley cared for her. The demon at the end I found was too easy, he seemed to look like he came from some ancient Godzilla movie where the effects weren't too great. Oh well, I still liked the storyline and the acting was well done as well.

Wow, I was totally blown away by this episode. It perfectly described the way that mothers are totally protective of their children or, in this case, children to be. I wasn't happy to see that Cordy is dating so soon after Doyle left, it just seemed like she wasn't really all that interested in him. The writing was on the cheese side, I totally predicted Angel saying that he hates when people shoot him. Wesley isn't getting on my nerves as much as I thought he would, but I do miss Doyle. With Wesley, it seems that he's just taking orders from Angel, doing everything he says meekly and carefully. The ending was super awesome, with the special effects done with the monster (question: why are buffy monster's so good but Xena's so cheesy? Wow, my word of the day is cheesy.....) and Cordy's life lessons learned. All together now....... awwwwwwww, how cute.
